The members of this ministry base their activities on the beliefs that
the family is the basic unit of our culture and the place where faith best
develops; that the stress on families in today's society is sometimes overwhelming;
and that people can help themselves and others better by understanding
the needs of families. The group coordinates Godstart, a post-Baptismal
program for pre-school children. This entails a visit to the family
on the child's first, second, third and fourth birthdays, taking a special
card with appropriate activities. The group also makes available
Family Time, aimed at families with children aged 8-11 years.
