This group attends
to all those enquiring into and wanting to join the Catholic faith.
It introduces candidates to the life of the Catholic community. The
ceremonies of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation at the Easter Vigil are
the highlight of the candidate's journey of faith. Those already
baptised in another Christian tradition follow the same journey. Their
earlier Baptism is of course recognised. The RCIA is led by a team
of people prepared to share their faith experience. Candidates are supported
by their sponsors and other interested parishioners.
